Prior to the US tour in 2011 we had our final rehearsal in Box Studios near Bath. Mel was late. Mega fucking late. The bust up we had in the car en-route to Box could have signalled the cancellation of the entire tour. Nat pressed record and the angry tape was born. It was an intense session, no-one spoke. 2 days later we boarded a flight to California and had a fucking great tour. Being tear gassed in Mexico, nearly electrocuted in Las Vegas, shut down by a gun wielding cop in Long Beach & finishing with a mind blowing gig in Oakland is nothing compared to the atmosphere of this recording.
