Isolated

|

What would you do if you were one of them
Unable to tell friends about your problem
Would you bottle up inside all your fears
Go on suffering through out your years
This is no mental disorder
This is no horrid disease
This is no terrible error
This is just the way people feel
Your love letters, you hide them away
Afraid your mom and dad will find them one day
What would your parents do if they found out
You're afraid they'd disown you and chuck you out
You have to meet in discreet places
Away from all recognizable faces
Why can't they accept humans like these
Instead they pass them off as an awful disease
You get beaten up as if it's something you're owed
For looking like a female when you walk down the road
You can't hide your feelings, it wouldn't be real
Why can't they understand the way you feel?

Changing Places
02:00
|

He remembered when he used to go home
The room was crowded full of people
All the noise and really strange vibes
Pounding headaches all the time
How he hated those days, he remembered them well
All he could think of then was how he wished they’d go to hell
Those passing faces that went and came
He hated them all, everyone
The strange hypnotic gazes on their faces
Doped up drop outs all of them
He had his chance to escape
So he took it while he could
He wanted to see a normal life or as normal as he could
Alas he went through a new life but he didn’t fit
And now he’s back to his old life
But he still don’t fit in
No alternative left for him
Two kinds of life he’d tried
So he took an overdose of mandrax
And slept until he died

Church of Religion
04:07
|
|||
Puritan to the earth, a mother to us all
Hide away from the witches call
No not me I'm the leader of you all
The church of religion means nothing, means nothing at all
The 5 pointed star and his Latin name
What are the chances you will come here again
A crucifix reversed for you
Attack of panic and what can you do
Relax you tensions sit back and fall
Blood on the wall the ash on the soil
The key to your heart blood to the lord
Play you part caught from the start
Frightening places mysterious places
A target of mystery of the satanic races
Thou shall not be afraid of the terror of the night
The power of the darkness the game is right
The game is over and we're left to die
Amongst the graves where you lie

Juvenile Pose
02:21
|

What you see is what you get
I wish you wouldn't push to hard
Peaceful times and living today
What you hear they exaggerate
Juvenile Pose you're a juvenile poseur
Juvenile Pose you're a juvenile poseur yes you are
All our lives we're running free
Perhaps that's the way life's meant to be
There's nothing wrong coz there's nothing right
All our life's just one big fight
Listen to what they say
There's no chance to prove yourself ?
All our lives we're running free
Perhaps that's the way life's meant to be
There's nothing wrong coz there's nothing right
All our life's just one big fight

Love or Pain?
03:07
|
|||
So you believe in love well I can't imagine why
Oh yes it's the eternal dream it even makes you cry
It screws up your brain it's tearing you apart
Do you believe in love and a broken heart?
What do you want? What do you want?
Love or pain? Love or pain?
You sit up all night waiting for a call
If I were you I wouldn't wait at all
For what it's worth a couple of thrills
Until you break down and turn to pills
Love's not flowers nor romantic games
Love just hurts and produces pain

Honesty
03:08
|
|||
Draw back the curtains it's another day
It's time for work with no time to stray
At home your at ease truthful to your self
At work the pretence is ruining your health it's ruining your health
Honesty
The lies you tell that you do want to believe
It's called getting on are you really at ease? Are you really at ease?
Honesty
Question yourself you don't have to conform
You'll find it's in your head it's all of your own
Don't hide your thoughts speak out your mind
Maybe you'll be surprised at the reaction you may find
Honesty Integrity Apathy don't look at me
Be an individual be different from the rest
Don't be frightened cause honesty is best
Be an individual be different from the rest

Forgotten Hero
04:27
|
|||
There's an old man over there and he's sitting on his own
He's just been to war and he's left without a home
He doesn't understand why things worked out this way
He's just been to war and it's a price you have to pay
He didn't want to go but he was very young
And national service came around and gave him a brand new gun
They taught him how to kill and take other lives of men
He swears if there's another war he'll never fight again
He's only just realised that there were better things to do
Than watch other people dying he wished that he'd died too
But now he has no arms and legs and no one speaks to him
And he can hardly move at all a muscle or a limb
Visions in his head flash back of bodies on the ground
Mutilated shot or gassed bodies all round
Why did he have to go? Well he isn't really sure
If he could talk he'd tell you to keep away from war
And now he screams in his head
I don't want to go to war I don't want to go to war
I don't even know what I am fighting for
I don't want to go to war I don't want to go to war
Just another forgotten hero lying on the ground

Divis Flats
02:06
|
|||
Well there's a cry at night from the Divis flats
Blood on the pavement a bullet in your back
Can't you see there's writing on the wall?
Green & white writing the Provo call
No no no it could be you
No no no you tell us it's true
No no no it could be you
No no no you tell us it's true
Well there's a 19 year old solider gun in hand
Serve his country to protect his land
Down on the streets fighting every day
A flash in a doorway and you’re blown away
Well there's a cry at night from the Divis flats
Blood on the pavement a bullet in your back
Can't you see there's writing on the wall?
Green & white writing the Provo call

No Rule
02:28
|
|||
What's the use in trying to hard?
Everything we've done means nothing at all
And what we try is breaking their laws
What we need's a new independence
To put a stop to their death and defiance
Every day it's all the same
Sod authority it's a stupid game
Stuck in a rut coz there's nothing to do
What's needed is an alternative rule
A paramilitary organisation
Could be the end of civilisation
Huh life's a fucking bore
Government it's just a laugh
Some stupid fools arsing about
What we wants an alternative rule
It's out of the question the white papers full
It's all the same nothing to do
Just another government rule
They’re turning you into a fool
'72 a long time ago
Oppression it went really slow
Now today it's all the same
Sod authority it's a stupid game
There's no rule no rule no understanding
Government? We all know how it works
Bristol Brixton no understanding
Afghanistan Iraq and Iran there's no understanding

Dying Man
02:27
|
|||
Bewildered and amazed he staggers around
The empty streets day and night
He hides away so he won't be found
In a doorway out of sight
He's a dying man, but he doesn't realise
He thinks what they say is just a pack of lies
He blames no one but himself
For the terrible state that he became
A lot of damage was done to his health
But he thought that he remained the same
He promises and promises he'll pack it in
It might last for a day or two
He tries the beer and then the gin
But he's soon back on his glue
They could have helped but it's too late
They loved him too much to try
His life now is up to fate
But they all think he will die

Not Last Night
03:05
|
|||
Not this life but the life before I thought I was in the First World War
Gas was roaming everywhere I was left blinded but they didn't care
I find my bunker myself to hide millions of people were left to die
In total death proceeded by fear 1918 a forgettable year
And I thought I was only dreaming
United Kingdom was a totally screaming
I thought I was only dreaming
Total paranoia the crowds were screaming
Not last week but the week before
An election man came a knocking at my door
He was sticking labels everywhere
The nuclear arms He didn't care
I couldn't take no more I had to hide
I didn't ask for them didn't ask to die
Death and destruction surrounded by fear
As we sit and wait for that formidable year
Not last night but the night before
I thought I was in the 3rd world war
Bombs were dropping everywhere
I was terrified but they didn't care
In the shelters they did hide
Millions of people were left outside
Screaming people panic with fear
Everyone dreading that fateful year
Not last night but the night before
